Prague – Vienna via Český Krumlov

9 – 10 days / 8 – 9 nights / 5 – 7 biking days

Length  296 - 391 km / 161 – 234 miles, depending on the route

Difficulty: moderate

The tour begins with transfer from your hotel in Prague (or from Vaclav Havel Airport) to a small town in southern Bohemia named Hluboká nad Vltavou. As the tour does not include accommodation in Prague we recommend you independently arrange a stay of 2-3 days in this exceptional city before you begin the bike tour, this way you can also get to know the capital city of the Czech Republic. We also recommend you spend a few days in Vienna at the end of the tour, an amazing city on the river Danube. We think you would certainly enjoy a few days relaxation after spending all that time on your bike. After Hluboká nad Vltavou you will spend 2 days in the most well preserved city in Europe - Český Krumlov. In your free time you can wander the tiny streets of this beautiful town or if you can't get enough cycling  you can take a bike trip from there to Lipno, the largest lake in the Czech Republic. Then you will continue across a landscape of forests and many lakes. Near the Austrian border you will arrive at the area named Czech Canada and then you will visit the renaissance  towns of Třeboň and Telč. Via wine makers trails you will travel to the center of Moravia and the towns Znojmo and Mikulov. On the last day we will take you by minibus or car to Vienna where the tour will end.

Reminder: When ordering, please specify if you will end the bicycle portion of the tour in Znojmo or Mikulov.
