BIKES AND INSURANCE

Terms and conditions of Bike rental:

In the event you will not bring your own bike, you can rent our bikes for a fee. We rent Czech MTBs of different size equipped with Shimano components. Each and every bike includes standard fittings (front and rear fenders, bell, bottle holder, water bottle, rear rack, rear bag, bag on the handlebars, helmet, lock etc.). Our bike is also equipped with essential tools and small spare parts for maintenance. In case you have your own pedals or saddle, we will obviously install it for you. Before your trip the bike is checked by a mechanic, so it should be in a good condition. Fee for renting of the above described bike is € 60 and covers the whole period of your Bike tour. The client should check everything thoroughly before accepting the bike and then he confirms in the handover protocol that the bike handed to him is in a perfect mechanical condition. Furthermore, the client agrees by signing the protocol, that he returns the bike included all the accessories in the same condition as in which it was handed to him (except its depreciation). Renter further agrees not to use the bike under the influence of alcohol, drugs and other addictive substances. Meanwhile when the bike is not in use, the renter is responsible to secure it suitably so it will not be stolen or damaged.  In case of a bike failure resulting from common usage of the bike, the client can eliminate this condition himself, or let it to be removed in the bicycle repair shop. After presenting to us the bill for the repair we refund the amount to you. Otherwise, it is necessary to contact the representative of the intermediary travel agency to find another solution. In case of theft or loss of the bike, the renter is obliged to inform immediately the representative of the intermediary travel agency and police of the Czech Republic. In such a case the intermediary travel agency reserves the right to charge a fee 450 EURO per a single lost or stolen bike.

Therefore it is essential to have an insurance, it has to be additionally arranged by the client himself.

It is essential for your bike tour an insurance of liability for damages caused by you, health insurance, accident insurance, baggage insurance etc., so you could always solve a possible insurance event with your insurance company.
