Day 1
Transfer Prague - Telc 160 km / 96 miles / 1 H 50 minutes
If you want to see the city Telc from a height of Telc, you have to get to the train station ( near the center ) . From here following the yellow labels trail you will get to the tower Oslednice and then will get to see this beautiful town from the height of 31m.
Day 2
Telc - Slavonice

Surely you visited castle Telc, a square surrounded by colorful shields Renaissance houses, or have just passed the ponds that surround the city.
But now it is time to take a bike and alongside CT16 you will arrive in town Dačice. The first written mention of Dačice is from the year 1183. In the city there is the Renaissance castle from 1591. After various modifications and a major reconstruction between 1990-1996 it was opened to the public. It is definitely worth your attention. And you know that the first sugar cube in the world was made in Dačice? It was in 1843. The monument is located in front of the Renaissance Tower. If you continue along the CT16 you get will get into Slavonice where your today's stage ends. J.G.Grasel, highwayman, who was here in the past, you will probably not meet. Rather, you will be impressed by this architecture on the border between Bohemia, Moravia and Austria. And if you really want to be afraid you can visit the underground of Slavonice. The entry to both underground routes is from the house number 479 on the Peace Square.
Day 3
Slavonice - Trebon

Today's stage you will begin along the Czech-Austrian border. After a few miles you will get to the village Stare Mesto pod pod Lanstejnem. This city is also known as the "heart of the Czech Canada". Along the CT32 you continue around the lake Landštein to the medieval castle of the same name. When you are lucky, you will see the castle courtyard swordfight. Further along the CT32 it is only a few minutes into Nova Bystřice. Nova Bystřice is the terminal station of the narrow-gauge railway leading of Town Jindrichuv Hradec, which was opened in 1897. And then you continue through forests and around lakes to the finish of today's stage, the spa town of Trebon. And you will certainly not be bored here. Surely you will enjoy the square with a very old town hall and opulent Renaissance castle. Also Schwarzenberg tomb is worth visiting. If you are in the mood you can visit Aqua Viva Centre (tel. +420384750666, www.aurora.cz). City Trebon, with its spa complexes, is one of the most famous in the world. Trebon is also a city of fish. We recommend you visit one of the many restaurants and taste some seafood specialties. If you don’t taste the local bear, I will be sorry.
Day 4
Trebon - Kaplice

If you are one of the animal lovers, you should definitely visit ZOO in Dvorec. There are lions, tigers, bears and other animals. There is also a terrarium of snakes. So there is lots of staff to see. After passing through several villages in South Bohemia you will arrive in Nove Hrady. And you will certainly spend some time in here. The main landmark of the town is a castle from the 13th century. It was destroyed during wars a fires. But it was rebuild to its present form. Furthermore, there is also a monastery, castle and park "Tereziino Valley". And as an true cyclists, you should visit the first Czech museum of cycling, which is located in the castle grounds. There are exhibits from the 19th century to the presence. Today you will finish in Kaplice. It was founded in the Middle Ages on an important trade route that connected southern Bohemia and Hor. Austria. It has about 7,000 inhabitants and there are plenty of tourist that are attracted to this area.
Day 5
Kaplice - Vyssi Brod

After leaving the town you will pass the international E55 road leading to Austria. Please pay close attention here to the heavy traffic. After about 8km you will get to the village Bujanov. There is a horse-drawn railway museum, which was opened in the years 1828-1830. The main reason for building the railway from Linz to Ceske Budejovice was the transport of salt. There is river Vltava here and you can see here plenty of boaters sometimes even if it rains. The local monastery is one of the most beautiful and most authentic surviving monasteries of the Czech Republic. It was built in 1259. From the 19th century it has become a popular tourist destination because of its rare collections which always raised an attention. At the monastery there is also a postal museum. You can see the exhibition of the history of postal services in the Czech Republic from 1526 to the presence, on the area of nearly 2000 square meters. You will surely enjoy a unique collection of cars, carriages, cash registers, mailboxes, postal uniforms and other artefacts. And if you are not in the hurry go and visit the largest lake in the Czech Republic - Lipno. Railway station is about five minutes of walking from monastery and 20 minutes on the train you will get there. In Vyssi Brod there is a microbrewery Jakub. It was opened in 2008. It is the best dark beer in the Czech Republic among microbreweries. You can find the pub with this beer on the square no. 30. Day 6
Vyssi Brod - Cesky Krumlov

The last day you start riding along CT1188. After a few kilometers you will come to the town of Rosenberg. It is associated with significant noble family of the Rosenbergs.
